Each student must choose a subject package from Grade 10 based on interests, needs and aptitude.

At present all subject packages include  4 compulsory subjects:

• English (Home or First Additional language)
• isiZulu (Home or First Additional language)
• Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
• Life Orientation.

Three other subjects are chosen from:

• Geography
• History
• Physical Science
• Life Science
• Business Studies
• Economics
• Accounting

Subjects offered are dictated by the number of students choosing them.
