Nokwanda Dube

My name is Nokwanda Dube. I am married with 2 children. I am an ex-member of Inanda Seminary who matriculated in 2009. My parents made a decision to enrol me at Inanda in 2007 and I must say this was a life-altering decision. This is where I formed bonds that carry me to this day, but more than that I met myself, the woman I am destined to be. Seeing the alumni invest so much of themselves, busy and successful as they were, to return to the school and uplift us by showing and encouraging us to see our true potential, made me realise that this was not just any school, but one which gives you pride in yourself. A true privilege. The teachers and all staff members who worked tirelessly to create a conducive, safe and inspirational environment made me believe in myself and my capabilities. I matriculated in 2009 with my dreams in one pocket and a burst of confidence in the other. I pursued a career in the legal profession, completed my articles and gathered experience at a pension funds firm. I was employed as a case manager at the FAIS Ombud and in 2018 and I became the founder of NS Dube Attorneys, a law firm practising corporate law, civil litigation, legal advisory and family to name a few. I also have an interest in charity initiatives targeting women and children who are the most vulnerable in our community. I approach different NPOs and organise groups of individuals to in assist providing some of their needs. This is my passion project because it not only provides me with the opportunity to make a difference in their lives but also encourages a few people in my network to do the same.
