About the Alumnae
Inanda Seminary (IS) is proud of its role in educating African girls in South Africa for the past 150 years. In 2016, and for further development, IS embarked on a journey of harnessing the old girls' magic, omemba by formalizing an alumnae association. IS values its alumnae who are spread all over the world, doing great things. The vast and diverse experiences of the alumnae, make the association very strong.
The name of the Alumnae Association is: Inanda Seminary Alumnae Association (ISAA).
The aim is to mobilize the alumnae towards achieving common objectives:
- Ensuring that IS continues to educate and produce outstanding African girls;
- Ensuring the financial stability and long-term sustainability of IS;
- Ensuring that the dynamic IS culture of excellence, relationships, song and dance is preserved.
