Inanda Seminary was born on the 1st of March 1869. Every year the school celebrates the birthday on the closest Saturday to 1st March. We have a special service in the chapel, guest speakers and birthday cake & tea on our beautiful lawns! Up until recently, all students, staff & guests would also walk up the road to the cemetery for a special thanksgiving service at the grave of Mary Kelley Edwards and other founders. This tradition now continues on the actual birthday with a smaller group of students and staff.
